Group Yoga Classes

About Group Classes

“What style of Yoga do you teach?” This is a common question. I’ve been blessed to teach Yoga full time for 27 years. In that time my teaching has developed, and continues to do so, based on learning through my teachers, trainings with a range of focus and study of Yogic texts. It is my intention to present the teachings of Yoga with integrity to this ancient system of living in both the material and spiritual world and with heart as to what is needed in the moment.

I am versed in body mechanics including alignment and intuitive movement, breathwork (pranayama), meditation (dhyana), the philosophy of Yoga and subtle body energy work (directing prana). Each class is unique with a focus on the practice being applicable, on and off the mat, to current experiences both individual and collective.

“I have practiced yoga for the past 50 years. During those years I

have taken classes and workshops with many local and nationally

recognized teachers. I have practiced hatha yoga, yin yoga,

Forrest yoga, Iyengar yoga, Bikram yoga, Vinyasa yoga,

Kundalini yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Kripalu yoga. Over the decades I

have engaged in all levels of yoga, from gentle through more

vigorous yoga.

For the past two decades we have had the privilege of practicing

with Erin. She is an incredibly expert and skilled teacher. Her

knowledge of the human body and how it moves is exceptional.

Erin never offers the same class twice and, over time, she guides

her students to become aware of and stretch and strengthen

every muscle, ligament, and joint in their bodies. She manages to

include the critical components and focus of every type of yoga I

have been exposed to into her eclectic and unique classes.

Amazingly, every class is a true “all levels” class. The

modifications that Erin offers for every posture are precise and

informative. Her detailed instructions and watchful eye make it

possible for beginners as well as experienced practitioners to be

both safe and challenged in the same class. This is true for

remote as well as in-person classes.

Beyond her classes, Erin has managed to use her love and

unparalleled expertise to create places of healing and wellness

throughout our community. It’s been decades of practicing yoga with Erin and we can

honestly say that we are stronger and more confidently

living our lives as a result of her guidance. We still learn

something about our constantly changing bodies at every single

class.” ~ Jane & Nick (Beloved Yoga Family Members)
